Professional Tool Reviews for Pros

OX Professional PU10 Diamond Blades are in the mix as a hard materials cutting solution for the construction site. Like most diamond blades on the market, they cut a variety material such as granite, natural stone, bricks, metal, clay, concrete products, and virtually any other type of building materials.

Sticker shock is not uncommon when it comes to diamond blades. Even our recently reviewed Milwaukee Steelhead runs about $150 for each blade. A basic abrasive cut off wheel can run $7 – $10 and go up from there. When you talk about one blade replacing $350 worth of standard wheels, that price gets a little easier to swallow.

One the major benefits (aside from the long life) of a diamond blade is the fact that you’re not wearing down your wheel diameter. That means you can maintain your full cutting capacity until it’s time to replace the blade.

Ox has developed a proprietary SuperFast turbo technology applied to PU10 blades to improve the cutting experience and set them apart from what competitors offer.

Physically, OX Professional PU10 Diamond Blades have a continuous rim featuring a serrated edge. This design increases cutting speed while maintaining a smooth cut. The center plate has been reinforced for added safety in high stress cutting applications. Semi-transparent under load, the blade cuts cooler due to ventilation holes. Vibration dampening is also engineered into the design offering reduced noise levels as a bonus.

The segmented cutting section of each blade is 12 mm in height. Blade sizes vary from 4 inches up to 14 inches and cover a variety of tool classes.
