The New England Patriots didn't make a lot of moves in the offseason. If anything, one could say that they're a worse team now than they were last season, and they could have a tough time keeping up in their division.

This year could be a transition campaign for Bill Belichick's side. Considering that, they could be sellers and look to trim their payroll as the season goes by.

That's why some believe the Pats are looking to part ways with several veterans. Notably, WR Nelson Agholor would be one of the prime candidates to go, as he's making a lot of money and hasn't been that good on the field:

With that in mind, the Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers seem like logical destinations for the struggling wideout. While not box-office, both teams could use an insurance policy for their questionable receiving corps and could be on the market for any available wideout:

Nonetheless, a deal for Agholor would have to wait at least for the first four weeks of the season. The Pats are thin at WR and they'd need to get rookie Tyquan Thorton back on the field before thinking of moving anyone:

While he's been vastly inefficient since arriving in Foxborough, it's not like the Patriots' QB situation has done a lot to help Agholor's case.

He's not a superstar by any means and will be slightly overpaid based on his production, but he may only need a change of scenery to thrive and prove his worth. Bill Belichick claimed he was impressive in training camp, so maybe their attempt of selling him high could actually pay off for the team that trades for him.
