Wondering how your Apex Legends Rank stacks up against the rest of the community? Here’s a breakdown of the Ranked distribution in Season 14.

Apex Legends Season 14 brought another Ranked split, taking players to the revamped Kings Canyon and changing Entry Costs and Kill RP. Here’s a full breakdown of the Ranked distribution in Apex Legends Season 14.

Every season, Apex Legends players grind out Ranked to earn rewards and perhaps achieve the illustrious Apex Predator rank. Season 13 brought major changes with Ranked Reloaded, and then Season 14 tweaked the system even further.

With higher entry costs and kills bearing more weight, the Ranked distribution looks much different to Season 13 as players are finding it more difficult to achieve positive RP, even when winning matches.

If you’re wondering how your Rank compares to the rest of the community, here’s a full breakdown of Season 14’s Ranked distribution as of September 12 thanks to Apex Legends Status.

Once players get past Bronze, Platinum IV is the next most populated Rank in Apex Legends Season 14, with Gold IV and Diamond IV coming in closely behind.

There are a few reasons why the first division of each rank is more populated. A new rank means tougher opponents and although demotion has been introduced, players get three games worth of demotion protection which might be holding them in place.

Also, everyone in the same rank will get the same rewards, so players might be happy to get the rewards but feel the next rank is unachievable so don’t want to grind any further.

Of course, Apex Predator is the least populated rank as only the top 750 players can enter it. Then it’s actually Diamond I with the second-fewest players. With how high the Predator RP cost is, these high-skill players can get past Diamond I but can’t achieve Predator so are stuck in Masters, giving it a higher number of players.

The next Apex Legends Ranked split brings Storm Point and a Rank reset, so expect these numbers to change again soon. Plus, you can check out what NICKMERCS would change about the mode.

Apex Legends Season 14 is here, but which Legends are dominating Season 14 of Respawn’s battle royale so far?

Season 14 of Apex Legends has tons of characters to choose from to enjoy its several maps. But who has the top Season 14 pick rates in Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale shooter?

Apex Legends hit the ground running when it launched with eight different characters to choose from in its battle royale offering. The game suffered a notable lull when Call of Duty: Warzone launched, but with many popular streamers such as NICKMERCS and Dr Disrespect continuing to support the game, Apex has grown expeditiously.

There are now a whopping 22 different Legends to choose from, giving players a headache before each game. With Season 14 now here, the new Legend Vantage has already knocked some fan-favorite characters out of the running.

Let’s see how the current roster’s pick rates are looking to give us an idea of the most popular Legends in Apex Legends Season 14.

This is our complete list of every character pick in Apex Legends, and we’ve ranked them in order to let you know which are favored.

Here is every Apex Legends pick rate in Season 14 ranked, as of September 16, 2022, according to Apex Legends Status:

Making an appearance in the top five most popular Legends list is Horizon, who comes in at number five with a strong 6.9% pick rate.

Many underestimate just how strong Horizon is, with great movement thanks to her passive which prevents her from fall stun, and her Tactical Gravity Lift, Horizon is great for repositioning and moving fast.

Her Ultimate ability is also fantastic, especially when coordinated with teammates. You can use the Black Hole to pressure enemy teams off dominating positions, leaving the spot open for you and your squad. Ordnance and damaging abilities will cause havoc in the Black Hole so make sure you strategize with your team.

Again, with the influx of new Apex Legends players, Bloodhound is a great character to use for new players in Season 14.

Bloodhound nearly always stays in and around the 8-11% mark the seasons go on, and they have dropped slightly to 8.3%. Don’t let that put you off though, as they are easily the top Recon class to use in Apex Legends thanks to their tracking tools and incredible skills, plus, their Beast of the Hunt Ultimate is priceless.

Pathfinder has consistently been one of Apex Legends’ top five picks at 9.1%, and counting, for quite some time now.

As a Recon class, Pathfinder simply excels in movements and traversing the game’s various maps. His Grappling Hook and Zipline Gun are simply invaluable assets that will help any team in a pinch – either because of the circle or a third-party situation. He consistently manages to stay in the top 5 as a result.

Another starting Legend, Wraith has been a consistent pick throughout Apex Legends’ lifetime, and she has taken the number two spot with a 9.6% pick rate in Season 14.

Wraith’s stand-out features are her ability to get out of trouble very quickly – teammates included. Her abilities allow her to sense danger, become temporarily invulnerable, and create portals to escape predicaments. It’s easy to see why Wraith continues to be an absolute fan favorite in Apex Legends Season 14.

With a 10.7% pick rate, the speed demon remains dominant at the number one spot, continuing his reign as one of the most popular Legends in Season 14, fluctuating between the top two places.

Aside from his amusing quips, he is the perfect balance of offense and defense. Despite being regarded as an offensive Legend, Octane can greatly increase his sprint speed which is useful for both attack and running away.

But most Octane users thrive on his Launch Pad Ultimate which can send him, and friendly players, high up into the air.

That covers all the picks in Apex Legends Season 14. As always, buffs and nerfs will come and go throughout the season, altering the game’s meta, and subsequently, Legend pick rates.

We’ll be sure to keep this updated regularly so you can stay on top of the in picks and don’t forget to check out how to get the Twitch Prime skin for the month of September.

The Apex Legends Season 14 Collection Event update will bring Gun Run, a brand-new LTM which sees players battling it out for a victory.

The Apex Legends Beast of Prey Collection Event in Season 14 brings a brand-new LTM along with it. Here’s how the new Gun Run LTM works.

Apex Legends Season 14 is well underway and with the halfway split just around the corner, giving players a soft reset to Ranked Leagues, EA have also announced the new Collection Event for the season.

The Beast of Prey Collection Event in Apex Legends Season 14 will feature 24 cosmetics and a new Heirloom for Loba. In addition, EA also confirmed that the Collection Event update will also bring an LTM with it known as “Gun Run.”

Gun Run is very reminiscent of the classic Call of Duty multiplayer mode known as Gun Game. With that said, those who loved Gun Game are sure to enjoy Gun Run, so here’s everything you need to know about the LTM.

Gun Run will be available from September 20 to October 4, which is the duration of the Apex Legends Season 14 Beast of Prey Collection Event.

Apex Legends’ Gun Run features four squads of three battling it out to “master a wide range of weapons” on POIs Skulltown and Fragment East from World’s Edge.

According to the EA blog, in Gun Run, “each time you get a kill with a weapon, you leapfrog over teammates and are given the next highest weapon on the track.” As you and your team continue to get kills, you will progress to the next gun until you reach the final weapon.

You will see the next weapon that you will get after a kill just above the current weapon you are holding, so you can prepare.

The final weapon is a “new exclusive throwing knife, which will be available in the firing range for practice during the event.” The team to get a kill with the throwing knife first will be the winner.

The mode does feature “infinite ammo, health items and automatic respawns,” which will allow players to get back into the fight nice and fast.

There you have it, that’s everything you need to know about Gun Run. For more on Apex, check out the most popular Legends in Season 14.
