Another Wednesday means it’s time to review Wizards’ weekly Magic Arena announcement again. Last week, Wizards announced a new exclusive mode of MTG Arena: Alchemy, which is a major blockbuster. We already have a lot of Alchemy content, and there are many plans for the future. Browse our current available alchemy below, or head to our Alchemy: Innistrad Spoiler page.

We got some new information about the alchemy activities entering the arena in today's announcement, let us enter it. We will provide you with a quick summary of all announcements today, and you can find Wizards’ full text at the bottom of the page.

Tomorrow, that is, December 9th, the MTGA client update will launch a new Alchemy format-a rotation format that includes all standard cards, as well as special digital cards and a rebalanced version of some standard cards. Like other major Arena competition systems, Alchemy will use ranked and non-ranked, two wins in one game and two wins in three games. We encourage you to check our coverage of the Alchemy announcement for more detailed information about the format.

With the release of the format, Arena will launch a free entry Welcome to Alchemy event. Players only need to join to get three free alchemy: Innistrad gift packs, and you can win the other three gift packs by playing five victories. Loss in the game is not important, so you can play as long as you want to earn extra packs.

Alchemy: Innistrad packs can also be purchased, 1000 gold packs or 3000 gems 15 packs. In addition, you can purchase the Alchemist Bundle at one time, which includes 20 packs of Alchemy: Innistrad, at a price of 15,000 gold or 3,000 gems.

Today’s announcement also announced the Arena Decathlon, which is a 15-day series of ten events and offers some impressive rewards. Two events will be held at the same time, and each event will receive tokens. Three tokens will grant you the qualification to enter the decathlon finals, six tokens will reward two entries, and eight tokens will receive three entries. Players who have successfully obtained all ten tokens will not only receive tokens for the finals, but also an invitation to participate in the February qualifier weekend.

Each decathlon event will cost 2,000 gold or 400 gems to enter, and all participating players will receive an "Arena Decathlete" sleeve. In order to earn tokens, players must win seven wins in the event. You can read full details about Decathlon on Wizards’ official website. The activities are arranged as follows:

With tomorrow's alchemy update, three cards will be banned in the historical brawl game system: Betrayal Agent, Dead Wilderness and Spirit Dragon Ujin. Wizards of the Coast stated that these cards are banned because they are "too common" in this form of deck, and each card "uses or pushes" around a single permanent as the main element of your commander.

Although cards may now be balanced for digital "real-time formats," Wizards believes that rebalancing any of these cards will "result in an unsatisfactory card" or be insufficient to limit their Strength level.

This covers everything from this week's announcement-you can read the full text of Wizards of the Coast below. Tomorrow's update will shake up the arena in a way that we have hardly seen since the release of the client. We will keep you updated on all the latest developments about Alchemy and Arena, so stay tuned, and we will see you again soon.

Alchemy will launch tomorrow, December 9th! This is a new format in MTG Arena, much like a standard or historical game. It introduces new pure digital cards, which are legal in Alchemy and Historic, and Alchemy packs can be used approximately one month after each Magic card series is released in MTG Arena.

Alchemy rotates once a year, following a standard pattern. It has battle and ranking support, and can be used in a single game and three games.

You can find answers to all Alchemy questions by visiting the following two resources:

MTG Arena has launched a new game blade, making it easy to find events and replay the previous game mode!

In his latest "Game Status" article, Jay Parker revealed updates to MTG Arena-including alchemy information. look at this!

With the update of the alchemy game, the following cards will be banned in Historic Brawl:

These cards are too popular in the main deck, and each card utilizes or promotes one of the main elements of the format: the gameplay focuses on a single important permanent, single-player deck construction or color restriction.

Although rebalancing is now a tool we can use, we intend to retain the spirit of any rebalanced cards. For these three cards in Historic Brawl, this is still problematic, because rebalancing may result in an unsatisfactory card or fail to solve the problem effectively. In this case, the ban is still necessary.

The ranking season for December 2021 begins at 12:05 PM Pacific Time (20:05 UTC) on November 30 and ends at 12 PM Pacific Time (20:00 UTC) on December 31.
