A roundup of Monday’s boys and girls basketball tournament games and scores:

Damien 80, Jesuit 57 (crossover): The Spartans were originally scheduled to play Sacramento, but after Sacramento pulled out due to coronavirus health and safety protocols, the Spartans played Jesuit instead. The Spartans raced to a big lead and cruised to a victory that improved its record to 15-0. RJ Smith and Jimmy Oladokun led the Spartans with 19 points apiece. It will get tougher for the Spartans on Tuesday against Idaho’s Owyhee, which beat St. Bernard in the first round. Damien will face Owyhee at 8:30 p.m.

American Fork (Utah) 70, Notre Dame 57

St. John Bosco 75, Murrieta Valley 52

Los Altos 47, Fountain Valley 44: The Conquerors had to sweat it out down the stretch, but pulled out the victory behind another big game from 7-foot junior Jazz “Big” Gardner. He finished with a game-high 18 points to go with 11 rebounds and six blocks. CJ Bellamy had 10 points for the Conquerors. Los Altos will take on San Juaquin Memorial at Damien on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

San Gabriel Academy 64, Fairfax 42 (crossover game)

Redondo Union 61 St. Paul 56: Redondo’s David Solmando led all scorers with 17 points.

Diamond Bar 61, Compton 60, OT (crossover): The Brahmas got a game-high 30 points from Dylan Stout, who also had seven rebounds, and Malcom Bell finished with 20 and seven boards. Compton was scheduled to play St. Francis, which pulled out, so Compton will move on in the Diamond Division. Diamond Bar advances in the Silver Division.

Glendora 46, Hesperia 45: The Tartans advance to face Leuzinger in the second round on Tuesday at Royal Oak Middle School at 8 p.m. Hesperia missed two potential go-ahead shots in the final five seconds that allowed the Tartans to pull it out. Luke Jacobson led Glendora with 13 points, Noah Smith had 12 and Braydon Wooldridge scored all 11 points, all of which came in the second half.

Pasadena 56, Dana Hills 54: The Bulldogs advanced to take on Rancho Cucamonga on Tuesday at Royal Oak Middle School at 6:30 p.m.

Chino Hills 54, Washington Prep 39: Chino Hills’ Jaycob Parsons scored a game-high 20 points.

Murrieta Mesa 77, Flintridge Prep 75: Jefferey Stetson led Prep with 21 points and Josh Kim had 17.

Grant 62, West Covina 59: The Bulldogs’ Benjamin Pho led with 25 points while Shawn Daher had 14 points and Jordan Nacpil with 10.

Bulldogs (9-5) came up a little bit short against a well coached Grant team 62-59. Game 2 is at 9 am tomorrow at the SoCal Christmas Classic.

La Canada 63, LACES 50: The Spartans’ Brady Ranson scored a team-high 18 points while Brandon Chung and David Garland had 10 apiece.

Schurr 61, Whittier Christian 56: Rey De La Torre led the Spartans with 15 points and 10 rebounds and Noah Loera added 15 points with five rebounds. Whittier Christian got a game-high 28 points from Aiden Stewart and Mart Hewer had 10 points.

Whittier 70, Central City Value 20: The Cardinals’ Isaiah Leon with a game high 21 points, but Brandon Romo had a big double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds.

Glendora 57, Don Lugo 34: The Tartans were led by Rylie Anderson with 20 points during round-robin play of the Glendora tournament. Brianna Gomez added 12 points as the Tartans improved to 10-4.

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 51, Northview 41: The Vikings hung tough with undefeated Notre Dame during round-robin action as Alana Diaz scored 15 points with 10 rebounds. Sammy Martinez also had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Covina 55, Canyon Springs 26 (Ramona tournament)

Bonita loses tough battle in overtime vs quality Peninsula team, 52-50.
