Presented by Mulpha Events, General Manager Johan Hasser said after the phenomenal success of the 2021 event, SCIBS was buoyed by the huge demand in the number of brands lining up to showcase their vessels and products at the 2022 Show.

“We have witnessed the increased popularity of boating as a fun and safe lifestyle activity with wide appeal and the subsequent trend in boat ownership in Australia,” Mr Hasser said.

“We have already received a record number of exhibitor applications much earlier than previous years and are well on track for a sell-out event in 2022.

“With increased VIP offerings and additional space for trailer boat displays, Mulpha continues to invest in SCIBS and Sanctuary Cove to the benefit of visitors and exhibitors.”

SCIBS 2022 also marks a momentous milestone with major partner Bentley Brisbane & Gold Coast marking a decade-long association with the Show with four custom cars specially commissioned for the occasion.

Group Marketing Manager Clinton Wright said: “Bentley Brisbane & Gold Coast is celebrating 10 years as a major sponsor of Sanctuary Coast International Boat Show with the unique commissioning of a Bentayga, Flying Spur, Continental GT and Continental GT Convertible by Mulliner.”

“We set out to curate a collection commissioned exclusively for SCIBS 2022, taking complete inspiration from the combination of deep blues of the ocean to the sharp white exteriors and elegant timbers of a luxurious yacht,” Mr Wright said.

“We value the alignment of like-minded brands and attendees at the annual luxury marine lifestyle event and look forward to exhibiting our custom, handcrafted Mulliner Collection at this year’s Show.”

High-end luxury motor yachts Riviera will bring its largest Australian showcase to Sanctuary Cove, including the boat show premiere of the exceptional new Riviera 78 Motor Yacht plus two new models that are yet to be officially announced.

Riviera Owner Rodney Longhurst said the Riviera fleet of more than 12 distinctive motor yachts will be on display.

“We look forward to welcoming boating enthusiasts aboard the very best motor yachts Riviera has ever created,” Mr Longhurst said.

“We will also be hosting the exclusive Festival of Boating for Riviera owners, offering boating educational workshops and private social events hosted at our VIP lounge moored within the massive display.”

Palm Beach will also be back at SCIBS where it will showcase the sleek Palm Beach GT60 cruiser, game-changing Grand Banks 60 model and other premium, high-performance motor yachts in the award-winning range.

Founder, CEO and ocean-racing champion Mark Richards said: “Palm Beach will also have information about the newly launched flagship Grand Banks 85 model following its debut in Palm Beach, Florida in 2021.”

Australian Marine Centre (AMC) Boats Dealer Principal Rod Elliott said the marine and leisure boating specialist has seen a huge surge in demand with production for many brands sold out for 2022 and into 2023.

“We will have the best brands on display at SCIBS 2022, including the Australian release of the Invincible 33ft catamaran, as well as a range of Bar Crusher, Haines Signature, Aquamaster, Contender, Tidewater and Ranieri boats,” Mr Elliott said.

Gold Coast-based JSW Powersports will also showcase industry-leading brands at SCIBS 2022, such as Sea-Doo Watercraft, Can-Am Off-Road and On-Road ranges, Sea Fox Boats, Malibu Boats and Axis Boats and their latest brand addition, SEABOB-Jets.

“At SCIBS 2022, we are thrilled to have the Australian-first showing of the Sea Fox 328 Commander, which offers the ultimate combination of performance, luxury and fishing ability; the 2022 Sea-Doo FishPro range with the 130hp Scout, 170hp Sport and 170hp Trophy; the all-new Malibu 21LX Wakesetter; and 12 exciting new colourways across the entire SEABOB lineup,” JSW Powersports Marketing Manager Oliver Bennett said.
